The Next Phase

I am now beginning to revamp the Orthotomeo Project for the next phase. The next target is to get a usable Alpha-Version up and running. Also as a first step this Blog will be revamped.

Sorry, … it’s been a while. In the next several weeks, more activity should be taking place.

Bibletech 2011 Summary

The Bibletech 2011 conference is now over.  This was the first conference of this sort that I’ve visited. It was an enjoyable two days. I met many new people, made some good contacts, and learned a lot. I was also able to gain a better perspective on how the Orthotomeo Project fits into the current landscape of theological software. I think it can be a good fit and a something worth persuing. I received a fair amount of positive feedback. The next phase will be to asses the current situation and make plans and goals for the phase of development.

Delays

An actual function website for viewing and editing an Orthotomeo Database, unfortunately, will have to be postponed. In preparation for the Bible Tech conference in a weeks time I had hoped to have a working version available for public use. Due to other commitments and projects this has not been possible.

Good news is, I will be able to demonstrate something at the Conference with a local WAMP installation.

We’ll see you in Seattle at the Bible Tech conference.

Have deleted all user accounts (except mine;)) and disabled registering. I was getting to many spam users.
Also it was not being used and is not really necessary.
